Framed in the activities of the Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Águilas, this week a Wikidata workshop was held at the IES Alfonso Escámez, taught by Isidoro Gil Leiva and Tomás Saorín, professors of the Faculty of Documentation of the University of Murcia.

During the workshop, which was attended by the mayor of Youth, Juan Andrés Torres, aspects related to Google, Wikipedia and Wikidata tools were discussed;

the difference between Wikipedia, which contains textual information, and Wikidata, which hosts a variety of data;

as well as to make simple queries but that can return valuable and useful information already structured.
