The Emergency Service of the Aguilas Norte Health Center operates this morning with total normality after the activation last night of the protocol to be followed in the possible cases of coronavirus.
On this matter, the mayor of Health, María Dolores García, made a call for calm explaining that the patient who came to the emergency service yesterday did not present any apparent symptoms and that she did so only because she could have been in contact in Milan with a citizen who supposedly would have tested positive.
The mayor of the area said that, given this statement and only for reasons of protocol, the patient was recommended to remain temporarily isolated at home, while recalling that so far there is no positive for coronavirus in the Region.
It should also be noted that the staff that served last night in the Emergency Department has not been quarantined and continues to carry out their work normally.
On the other hand, in case of emergencies or suspected cases of coronavirus, it is recommended to contact the single emergency telephone 1-1-2 that provides 24-hour home service, avoiding going to the health center.
