One more year, the Eagles Mental Health Association (AFEMAC) has joined the celebration of the great festival of the Aguileño carnival, attending numerous events that began on the 12th and have lasted almost two weeks.
The beginning of the festivities took place with the attendance at the traditional festival of the "Águilas Plaza" shopping center, where the users of the residences of the third age of our town, of the "Urci" Occupational Center, as well as from "Fundown" and "Águilas Down".
The manager of the Shopping Center, Gema Simó, the manager of Carrefour, Jaime Orquín and the municipal authorities were responsible for appointing the "kings and queens" of the Carnival of each association.
In addition, there was time to dance and share a wonderful breakfast with the attendees.
Another of the classic activities of the Eagles Mental Health Association, is the visit to the "San Francisco" and "Railroad Pensioners" residences, where associates dance with residents and participate in their costume contest.
On the 18th, the children's and adult characters of the Carnival, accompanied by members of the municipal corporation and by the vice president of the Peñas Federation, Juan Moreno, visited AFEMAC and participated with their associates in the choreography that they had prepared for the event;
All attendees were presented with a basket of decorated eggshells that the associates made in the laborterapia workshop.
Finally, on Friday 21st, the Eagles Mental Health Association participated in the "Mediterranean" school party, another example of the twinning between the two centers, which periodically carry out joint activities.
