The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Health, María Dolores García, recently met with the Minister of Health, Manuel Villegas, and the manager of the Murcia Health Service, Asensio López.
After the meeting, the first mayor of Aguileña positively valued a meeting in which- Moreno said- "from the Ministry they have shown their commitment that the works of the High Resolution Integral Center (CIAR) will begin next November."
In this regard, the mayor said that "while it is true that the budget item that the Regional Government has allocated for this purpose has been greatly reduced, we will be very aware of its execution."
Another issue addressed during this meeting was the need to "solve the problem presented by the Águilas Sur Health Center; a center that is not in the necessary conditions to provide service and that presents an important space problem."
"Finally, the need to expedite the waiting lists that affect Area III of Health to which the municipality of Águilas belongs was another issue that we transmitted to both the counselor and the manager" - concluded Moreno.
