The mayor of Education and Tourism, Francis Gallego and Ginés Desiderio Navarro, together with Juan Francisco Martínez, president of the Innovamos Juntos collective, and the members of the coordinating team of said collective, Urbania Rondón and Alicia Hurtado, presented yesterday the III Conference on Educational Innovation from the Guadalentín Valley that will be held at the Juan Montiel de Águilas Puerto Deportivo hotel on March 14.
"This group has been committed to demonstrating to teachers and families that another school and other education are possible; promoting creativity, participation, curiosity, new technologies and the commitment to emotional intelligence as an element to improve intellectual capacity and emotional of children and young people, "said the mayor of Education.
As for the conference, which will start at 8:30 and will close at 20.30 with a round table and a piano and clarinet concert by Carmen Vidal and Ángel López, will include talks, presentations and exchanges of educational experiences with experts from the world of research and educational practice.
Before concluding the presentation of these days, the mayor of Tourism encouraged participants "to enjoy, in addition to the pedagogical aspect of them, the municipality of Águilas and its many attractions."
