This morning, the Forest Brigades of the General Directorate for the Natural Environment are carrying out disinfection tasks in different parts of the town as a preventive measure against the spread of Covid 19. One action, noted the Mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, that " It serves as a complement to those that, daily and from the beginning of a state of emergency, are being developed by the concessionary company of the cleaning service of Águilas and to which, a few days ago, the farmers from Aguila joined the service of the City Council. their machinery. "
Regarding the tasks performed by the cleaning service, and which today have been reinforced by the work carried out by the Forest Brigades, they are being carried out by washing with a disinfectant based on sodium hypochlorite;
a cleaner with a high viricidal effect.
The objective of these disinfection works is to reduce the possibilities of contagion by contact as much as possible, which is why special attention is being given to those areas where the establishments are located that, exceptionally, can continue to provide service despite the confinement decree.
"Given the exceptional situation that we are going through, all the actions add up, which is why I want to convey my thanks to the workers of the cleaning company, to the farmers who have loaned their machinery and their time, and to the Forest Brigades that today have moved to the municipality".
