| Navarro: "The Government of the nation turns a deaf ear to the requests of the organizations and forget about farmers and ranchers "| The councilor of the Popular Party of Eagles, Francisco Navarro, has presented a motion to the city of Águilas to urge the Government of Spain and the Government of the Region of Murcia to launch a package of fiscal, bureaucratic and financial measures to support the activity of the primary sector. Navarro explained that "the primary sector is also suffering the consequences of the pandemic and we must strengthen measures to support it because its activity is essential for the population." In the area of ??tax measures, the councilor has proposed reducing the tax modules or Net Yield Indexes (IRN) for farmers and ranchers, based on the criteria set forth by the Department of Agriculture of the Government of the Region of Murcia, streamlining the refund taxes, such as VAT, or the hydrocarbon tax and facilitate obtaining and access to financing, through soft credits. For the popular councilor, the Government of the Nation turns a deaf ear to the requests presented by the agrarian organizations for the reduction of the IRPF modules in certain productions and municipalities such as Águilas.
And he adds that "the farmers and ranchers who have seen their productions have been reduced by the episodes of cold drop, drought and other inclement weather have been forgotten." The mayor of the PP also considers "essential to promote measures to simplify and reduce bureaucratic procedures." In this sense, it has been proposed the implantation of "an agricultural health card that appears collected in a database, in such a way that the professionals of the primary sector, with a single annual recognition are sufficient".
"It is about the worker not having to undergo a new medical examination, every time they change employers." From the Popular Party "we see the need to create a bilateral dialogue table that can lead to the opening of the important Russian market, which will end the current boycott of fruit and vegetable products." He has specified that it is essential "to carry out actions, actions and negotiations that avoid the imposition of additional tariffs on our agricultural, livestock or fishery products.
Navarro concluded by indicating that" we must promote the consumption of local agricultural, livestock and fishing products and shield them against the import of non-EU products ". All in all, the popular mayor has used the occasion to congratulate the farmers of Águilas, on the day of his employer, "San Isidro labrador" and thanked them again for their work because "it is of vital importance, in these moments of crisis health, count on you, that's why you will always have our support ".
