The Department and the staff of the Economic Development and Training Service, in collaboration with the consultancy Forum for Social Health Studies, are working on the development of the documents necessary to obtain the Certification of the UNE ISO 9001: 2015 Standard.

The objective of This certification is to implement a Management System that accredits the quality of the training services that the City Council offers to citizens. Thus, on June 10, the mayor of the area, José Manuel Gálvez, together with the Consistory's economic-financial management technician, Diego María Martínez, participated in a work meeting to finish outlining all the necessary documentation for the City Council de Águilas achieves this certification.

At the end of the meeting, Gálvez stressed that "with this certification, the City Council of Águilas intends to guarantee the quality of the vocational training delivery services for employment that it offers to citizens."
