The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, accompanied by the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and the Environment, Antonio Luengo, and other members of the municipal corporation, recently visited the company Ritec from Aguilera; company that is part of an Operational Group that aims to apply intelligent systems to improve the quality and productivity of tomato and greenhouse cultivation, optimizing the management and control of fertigation in cultivation systems. After the visit, Moreno described as "leading" a company that at an international level "advances unstoppably in technology with a single objective: to improve infrastructure for farmers.

It is clear - continued the mayor - that agriculture must bet on technological innovation and Águilas is an example of this.
