The Plaza de Alfonso Escámez has hosted the first edition of the Author's Book Fair for two days; an event organized by Emilio Tomás and Roque Gázquez, responsible for the Centro Papel Bookstore, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture. Ruiz Munuera, Lola Gutiérrez Sánchez, Manuel Morales Garcia, Juan Tébar, Javier Salinas Ramos, Francisca Martinez Merinos, Marisa López Soria, Fran J.
Marber, Ana Gil Quiles, Ana Peinado, Quique Garcés, Marianela Ibáñez and Belén Sanchez Garcia have been some of the authors who have gathered in this literary event that - Simó assured - "will return to our town in future editions after the good reception it has had". Parallel to this literary fair, the II National Letters from the Arena Contest has been held; a contest whose theme has been the writing of a letter related to holidays on the coast and in which close to a hundred letters have been received.
Finally, María Belén Sánchez García was the winner of this edition.
