The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Economic Development and Training, José Manuel Gálvez, and the Economic-Financial Management technician of the City of Águilas, Diego María Martínez, have delivered the diplomas and certificates of professionalism accrediting to the students who have successfully passed the Job Insertion Itineraries "Basic Restaurant and Bar Operations" and "Auxiliary Aesthetic Services", In the first of them, which was ending its 2nd edition, a total of 9 people have successfully completed the internship period in different hospitality companies in the town; With regard to "Auxiliary aesthetic services", it was completed by eleven of the fifteen people who started it, who have also developed their practices in different beauty salons in Águilas. It should be noted that the implementation of these programs in the town is possible thanks to the fact that the City Council of Águilas obtained, within the framework of the 2018 call, Aid from the European Social Fund provided for in the Operational Program for Employment, Training and Education for local entities to promote the labor insertion of vulnerable people, an important subsidy for which manages and develops the "Águilas T-Forma" Project. After the act, the first mayor made "a special mention to the premises, both in the hospitality sector and the aesthetic centers, which have made it possible to carry out these practices" while "thanking all of them for their full collaboration by opening its doors in a time as complicated as the one we are living, given the situation of COVID-19 ".
