The Águilas City Council, through Civil Protection, has begun the distribution of hygienic masks among the local schools and institutes. The aforementioned masks, which have been made available to the City Council by the Ministry of Health of the Government of Spain, are being delivered to the teams of the educational centers, specifically 500 units for each of the schools and 1,000 units for the institutes. According to the World Health Organization, the correct use of the mask is one of the prophylactic measures that limits the spread of respiratory diseases such as coronavirus; a measure to which others must be added that of frequent hand washing and social distance.
