Reverte explained that his intention was to hold a Local Congress last spring, after the Carnival festivities, "the situation we are experiencing has prevented this congress from taking place, but we are clear that the party had to continue to function and that the creation of this body within our structure is necessary.

" "My responsibility remains the same as when I was appointed president of the Manager of the Popular Party of Águilas, I am moved by the vocation of service with my neighbors, and that is what I have asked my team, a commitment to work with the aquilines, whether or not they are affiliated with this party.

" The president of the PP of Águilas, Eva Reverte, will have people on its Executive Committee who will be at the service of each and every one of the aquilineans.

Among the positions appointed, Manuel Pérez continues as Secretary General and Ascen Méndez as Treasurer, and has appointed 4 vice secretaries; Vice Secretary for Organization, Juan Zaragoza; of Economic Development, Francisco Navarro; of Political Action and Training, Clara Valverde; of Social Action, Francisco Javier García; and Electoral, Studies and Programs, Francisco Clemente.

In addition, the new Party spokesperson is Rosa Soler and the president of the Electoral Committee, Ricardo Asensio. "As soon as this situation passes, because it will pass, we will have the local congress, but in the meantime a structure is necessary to continue advancing, demonstrating our strength and management capacity," added the popular leader.
