The Hospitality sector has shown that it is not the problem of spread, the good results that the Region is giving in decreases in infections is due to the limitation of mobility, prohibition of meetings of more than six people and mainly the night curfew .

The sector must begin to increase its activity and stop being criminalized by the administrations.The opening of only the service on the terrace is totally unfeasible for the development of the hospitality activity, mainly due to the season of the year in which we are and meteorological factors typical of these dates, make the hotelier open the blind to close again without the visit of its clients, without forgetting the companies that are still closed due to not having the terrace service.Águilas continues to be one of the municipalities in the Murcia Region with the least accumulated incidence.

(As of November 26, we have an incidence of 161.5 per 100,000 in the last 14 days and 65.2 per 100,000 in the last 7 days) It is a municipality that should never have suffered the closure of the Hospitality sector and even so, it was closed for two weeks like the rest of the region.It is unfair to suffer these restrictions when epidemiological data are in favor of the hotel sector in Águilas.

For these reasons, we publicly ask that the Regional Government, through the epidemiological team of the Ministry of Health, approve of lifting as soon as possible the restriction that prevents working in a responsible manner inside the establishments of the Hospitality of Águilas.We have always asked from HosteAguilas that restrictions be applied depending on the incidence of Covid cases in the municipalities and that it not be done in a generalized way as it was done until a few days ago.As of November 19, our regional government published an informative note where it published that "the Public Health and Epidemiology Services have prepared some objective scales that will guide us in the de-escalation" to apply to municipalities depending on the incidence of Covid they had in the last 14 and 7 days.In this informative note he tells us that “In municipalities with medium transmission, this is with an incidence of 50 to 150 cases in the last 7 days and from 75 to 250 cases in the last 14 days, a capacity of 50% will be allowed in the inside the establishments ”Always respecting all hygiene measures and distances between tables and customers.For this reason and with the incidence data that we have in Águilas during the last 2 weeks, we ask to be allowed to open the interiors of the establishments to be able to work at this 50% of the capacity.If the Regional Government or the Ministry of Health do not take measures and apply this flexibility that corresponds to us due to the Covid incidence data published, from HosteAguilas, a concentration of the Aguileña hospitality will be called for next Saturday, November 5.
