The Association of Friends of the Saharawi People of Águilas participated last weekend in a rally in protest against the military action that recently took place in the extreme south of Western Sahara between the Moroccan army and militants of the Polisario Front. The Association of Friends of the Sahrawi People condemned this action while calling on the United Nations to intervene urgently, demanding an immediate ceasefire to put an end to this aggression against the Saharawi people and their territory; They also reiterated the need to seek a solution that guarantees the Saharawi people the full exercise of their right to freedom and independence in accordance with the repeated Resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
