Last afternoon of Monday, December 21 and, as has been a Christmas custom for 10 years, the members of the Jury of the Christmas Shop Windows Contest, one of the actions integrated into the Christmas campaign to boost and position small businesses, organized by the ACIA with the collaboration of the Council of Commerce of the City of Aguilas, they made the route of visits to the registered businesses. So, at 5 in the afternoon, the members of the Jury, we started the route.

The Jury, this year has been composed, due to the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 in the number of members, by Mari Carmen Moreno, Mayor of Aguilas, who every year accompanies us and supports this initiative; our Councilor for Commerce, Desiderio Navarro; Dariem Caparr s, president of the Association; Fernando Mula, professional photographer, whom we want to thank for his commitment every year by accompanying us on the route; José Fernando Mellado, professor and graphic designer, manager of Aguimola who has collaborated with the Association in the Outlet Fair action and in the design of the Christmas Campaign this year; Rebeca Agull , head of the Communication Office of the City of Aguilas and Luc a D az, manager of the Association. From Zapater a Pepe Garc aa Zas Visi n guilas in Calle Blas Rosique, Array Levante in Calle Mar n Men , Farmacentro Ruiz Collado and Chic in Plaza de España, Roja Directa Shop in Calle Juan Pablo I, Lencer to Evora and Little Moma in Pasaje Montalb n, Zas Visi n, Clp Shop, Modern cola and Feder pticos in Calle Conde de Aranda, Lady Garbo Moda in Calle Rey Carlos III and C&N Mayoral in Calle Quintana. To all of them, and knowing that the year we are living is very hard and that it has left the wings of illusions somewhat broken, we want to congratulate them and send them our most sincere thanks for bringing Christmas to their Windows, with the care and the illusion of always, despite the circumstances.

And, for all the small businesses we want to raise a wish for the new year, that together we get out of this terrible pandemic and together we continue working for our businesses and for eagles, giving light and life to our streets.

Next year we hope that you all participate in this initiative. Taking advantage of the occasion, the Association that, due to the confinement and subsequent circumstances, had to suspend the final act of the campaign of "Your opinion Account", an initiative to position small businesses on Instagram subsidized by the Directorate.

n General of Commerce of the Region of Murcia in 2019, presented the award to the Alzheimer Association of Aguilas, through the winning trade of this edition that was Zapater a Pepe Garc a in Blas Rosique street; The € 150 endowment was given to José Lencina, on behalf of the Alzheimer's Association.

The act with a marked solidarity character consisted in rewarding the business that had the most likes at the end of the campaign and said business chose a social or cultural association of the municipality to deliver the award; a small gesture of complicity and cooperation with our society,a gesture that shows that small businesses are always present and willing to collaborate with each and every one of the many needs our neighbors have.
