This morning, Juan Miras and Belén Beltrán, Sanitary Services inspectors of the Ministry of Health, have visited, together with the Mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Vice-Speaker of the Government Team, Cristóbal Casado, the facilities of the Fairgrounds.
The purpose of the visit has been to inspect this infrastructure to make a report on its suitability for use as a COVID Vaccination Center.
The mayor has indicated that "various municipal facilities have been offered to the Health Ministry, such as the Salvador Palazón Sports Pavilion, the Adolfo Suárez Fairgrounds or whatever they deem appropriate to carry out the vaccinations.
At this time, they are being carried out in the Águilas Norte Health Center, but it is not the right place due to several inconveniences.
However, the Fairground has a large parking lot, is centrally located and is also fully conditioned, since it was enabled to carry out the PCR tests two days a week".
