Eagles Mayor, Juan Ramírez Soto and the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Hernández, presented this morning in the consistory aquiline, the XXXII Summer Sports Games, which begin on July 2 and will run until September 19 .
During the meeting with the media, municipal officials have stated that "it is expected that over 4,000 athletes participate in these games, which bring together sports like basketball, swimming, football, track, paddle tennis, bocce and archery, among other modalities. "
Among the various sporting events are distinguished by their international character, the child's basketball tournament, which will run from 2 to 4 July, and the night race "Mayor of Eagles", which will take place on 21 August.
Special mention also the first tournament medieval archery, nationwide, which will be held on August 21 and participants must be dressed in costumes of the era.
Another novelty of this edition is the date change from the traditional "24 hours", which encompass sports like swimming, soccer, distance runner and paddle courts, which this year will be held on July 31 and August 1 to be different from the "Summer Carnival".
Finally, during the course of the press conference, local authorities have highlighted the launch next month of July, different courses and beach games, aimed at children.
