The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Social Services, Rosalia Casado, visited yesterday the headquarters of Bethany Home where they could see the great work that volunteers and volunteers from the charity made locally.
This group is responsible for distributing fresh food to more than 120 disadvantaged families.
Among the products that make up the baskets delivered to families they include fruits, vegetables, chickens and potatoes that are funded by donations from fruit and vegetable companies as well as the economic contributions of collaborators.
Both the mayor and the mayor of Social Services conveyed their appreciation to all members of Bethany Home for the selfless work they do.
