A total of eighty-school program participants Ecoescuela Coastlines, sponsored by the Department of Education and the Club Nautico de Aguilas, students have visited the facilities of the Association for the Protection of Animals and Plants (AGUIPROAN).
The visit, in which some of the children were accompanied by their families, has sought in order to raise awareness among smaller on the responsibility of pet ownership and fight against animal abandonment.
Students have seen first hand the number of dropouts, more than 300 housed in AGUIPROAN facilities, which are made in our area;
as well as the fact that a pet is much more than entertainment, is a compromise in which we give and receive.
Since the protective wanted to call to make clear that many families who yield to the pressure of the smallest and acquire a pet, pets that have an uncertain future and insisted on the idea that adopting a pet takes implied a strong degree of commitment and responsibility, since they require daily care.
