Eagle City Council has joined the network of municipalities that collaborate with the Instituto de Fomento (Info) to accelerate investment and business projects through the Investment Acceleration Unit (Unai)
The Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez, and the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, signed this morning an agreement that will allow investment and business initiatives driven by Unai developed in the municipality are urgent and halve the processing time at the regional administration.
Juan Hernandez said the Unai "is an example of the concern of the regional government for local development, and is a demonstration of how collaboration between administrations can reduce the bureaucratic process of business projects and thus advance the project of creating a of economic freedom in the region. "
Incorporating Eagles to the network of municipalities that collaborate with Unai will mean that entrepreneurs who want to start a business project through this initiative will receive a response within 48 hours and will have a roadmap of all the procedures to follow within fifteen days.
In addition, these business initiatives will have urgently and will benefit from a halving of the deadlines of the proceedings before the regional administration.
Following the signing of this agreement with the City of Eagle they are already 18 municipalities that collaborate with the Unit Acceleration Investment Info, which has allowed in just one year of operation to accelerate the implementation of 21 business projects, involving an investment of 392 million euros for the region and the creation of 1,459 jobs.
