Eagle City Council has launched a new edition of Archaeology Workshop, set by the Department of Equality, which are involved twenty women.
The first mayor aquiline, Mari Carmen Moreno, recently visited by the municipal archaeologist, Juan de Dios Hernández, the facility where is being developed and could see firsthand the interesting work carried out.
Throughout the workshop participants work throughout the restoration process, "from the inflow of funds from the excavation, prospection or donation to their final exhibition as part museum piece," said the municipal archaeologist.
The work consist of: washing and cleaning of the fragments, desalting and drying, gluing and assembling the different pieces, application of wax molds, volumetric reintegration plaster, color implementation and realization of the technical specifications of monitoring the process;
pieces, all that at the end of the workshop are temporarily exposed in the archaeological museum of the town.
