This weekend was held at the XXVIII Eagles Pilgrimage Rociera Brotherhood of Ntra. Sra. Del Rocio Eagles who gathered more than two thousand pilgrims from the Brotherhoods of Aguilas, Lorca, Archena and Garrucha.
Although the sky threatened rain finally the weather respected the way of "Sinpecado" that after a mass of pilgrims in the parish of San José started accompanied by the festive ambience of this celebration, until the place of Molino del Saltaor.
A total of fourteen strollers, ten chariots of horses and more than fifty horses walked the path making a first stop in front of City Hall where the White Dove was greeted with a shower of flower petals.
The wagon of the Virgen del Rocio, accompanied, among others, the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the older brother of the aquiline Brotherhood, Ginés Robles, continued on his way to the barracks of the Civil Guard, point where a wreath was made and held the Angelus prayer.
The pilgrims, after a stop at noon for lunch of brotherhood, reached their particular village of El Rocio past six Saturday afternoon.
The night was received at the mill Saltaor with torchlight procession and rosary undoubtedly two of the moments of greatest gathering of this party.
Yesterday dawned with the mass of dawn gave way to a day of dancing, singing and genuine brotherhood.
