Down Eagles users participated yesterday in the workshop Consumption and Recycling, included in acts from the Department of Consumer Affairs are scheduled to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Municipal Office of Consumer Information.
The conference, in which bird feeders with recycled materials were developed, began with a brief talk in which participants learned about the current situation of sparrows, a species whose population is declining significantly in recent years due to lack food.
The mayor of Consumer Affairs and Environment, Maria Isabel Torrente, who also attended the workshop highlighted the importance of activities like this that allow awareness in society in a pleasant way.
