Yesterday 30th anniversary of the creation of the Municipal Office of Consumer Information Eagles (OMIC) and the Department of Consumer celebrated it with a grand gala in which a journey made by these three decades and paid tribute to all people who have been part of its history.
"We organized this event to acknowledge and thank all persons, institutions and associations for their cooperation throughout this time," he stressed the mayor of Consumer Affairs, Isabel Maria Torrente, who recalled the close relationship since the beginning of this office with the Association Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgin of Sorrows to whose presidents, all have passed since the association was constituted in 1974, was presented with a plaque in appreciation for the support shown.
There was also time to recognize the effort and work to create, maintain and enhance the OMIC of the twelve councilors trade, the five mayors and the current mayor who have gone through the Consistory aquiline since 1986, date when the office opened .
The day also served to carry out the act of appointment of "Consumer honor" distinction went to Manuel Carrasco, founder of the OMIC, Jose Antonio Moreno, first councilman of Consumption of the Consistory aquiline mayor, and Ana Maria Ruiz, the who, being an official of the Municipality of the neighboring town of Lorca, attended the aquiline consumers back in 1985 when not yet have office Eagles.
The awards continued with the appointment of Raimundo Sanz as "Consumer of the Year".
Finally the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, was responsible for closing the act and did dedicating words of praise to all technicians of the Office of Consumer Information who said "are truly responsible for these thirty years customer service".
