The beach of El Rafal, located between the coves of El Charco and Rambla Elena is from this moment naturist beach preferred use, as announced this morning the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro.
"The launch of this beach represents the fulfillment of an electoral commitment with citizens that this summer will have an area to practice naturism" highlighted Navarro, while stated that "this beach will be a new tourist attraction for the town. "
The mayor of Tourism clarified about the beach, considering the legislation in this matter, "is naturist preferential use which means that although it is advisable naked is not mandatory".
On the choice of this beach, the area councilor claimed that initially, after a public participation process in which the vast majority of participants chose the area Cope as the ideal for this service, a process of study began in order to determine which was which complied with the recommendations that the Spanish Naturist Federation advised to these beaches.
"Finally we opted for Rafal for different reasons: on one hand it is a beach in which historically has been practiced naturism and, secondly, because even with a very simple access is not in sight of any main passageway" .
