Yesterday concluded the thirteenth edition of Eco-schools program Coastlines.
Create a sustainable people;
a program that focuses on education based on conservation values, respect and valorization of natural and cultural resources of the immediate environment.
For free, and with the support of the Department of Education and program development staff Yacht Club Aguilas, it has been given the possibility to all students of 2nd to 5th primary to participate in this program it develops within the plan of extracurricular activities.
Throughout the course they have made preparatory classes of the subject matter on tours every 15 days are made at different places of interest: historical points as the Tower of Cope, routes through the old town as the Ruta de Los Molinos or new musealizaciones as Route Railroad.
Other tours have targeted the environment and respect for nature, such as cleaning beaches with the support of La Generala, the trip to Mill Saltaor or visiting the animal shelter AGUIPROAN awareness.
Workshops energy saving, recycling, and many activities linked to the active life as outputs to sail have completed the program in which this year, as a novelty, have joined workshops for a healthy life, educating on healthy eating and active life.
All participants were presented a diploma and a T-shirt souvenir hands Councillor for Education, Vicente Ruiz, present along with other members of the municipal corporation at the close yesterday.
