The classroom culture of Cajamarca yesterday hosted the presentation of the documentary "Between steam coal and iron", a production of the Integra Foundation dedicated to the history of the railroad in the Region of Murcia that reached Eagles hand of the Association of Friends Railway the Labradorcico.
Production is a documentary series that lasted more than an hour and consists of five chapters.
The first is entitled 'Horizons steam' and focuses on the arrival of the first railroad to the Region of Murcia, while the second, 'Arteries of iron', is dedicated to the lines that formed part of the network railway in the region of Murcia.
The third episode, 'The new mercury winged', analyzes the economic impact caused by the arrival of this transport to the region and the fourth, entitled 'The triumph of daring', goes through different characteristic elements that make up the landscape rail, such as bridges, tunnels and stations, with a special mention to Pier Hornillo in Aguilas.
The last chapter, under the name 'Hearts of Fire', focuses on the powerful steam locomotives that made this medium a revolutionary transport.
The mayor of Culture, Lucia Hernandez, who attended the ceremony along with other members of the Municipal Corporation highlighted the "important connection between the railroad history and the history of our town" while assure that "we must continue fighting for that this union is maintained and follow the railroad linked to our town. "
