Hundreds of schoolchildren have gathered in Eagles to participate in the regional final in juvenile category and benjamín Program Physical Activity and Sports School Age held at the Municipal Sports Centre.
The program, launched by the Directorate General of Youth and Sports and Aguilas has enjoyed the cooperation of the Department of Sports, aims to extend the teaching of sports materials as well as healthy habits that they evoke outside the school hours.
With regard to the finals held in Eagles, the Municipal Sports Centre hosted the basketball, handball, football, volleyball, multisport and 3x3.
Tests, all of them, in which the players showed signs of sportsmanship and fair play which, said Christopher Casado, mayor of Sports, "should be the primary objective of the sport".
The awards ceremony was conducted by the aldermen Encarnación Navarro and Isabel Fernandez.
