The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, recently visited the Hotel Marina Juan Montiel where almost a hundred children and youth who are participating in the Campus Amaya Valdemoro basketball concentrate.
During the visit, the mayor and the athlete signed the agreement under which the town hosts this campus to which the City Council grants the use of the facilities of the sports center.
At the meeting Valdemoro sent the mayor his desire to keep more this sporting event at least three years in the locality;
a point that Moreno promised to study.
"This government team has always wanted the Campus take place in Eagles but, of course, with the support of sponsors and not with the municipal subsidy of 14,000 euros previously received. It is why- continued the mayor, who as we committed seek sponsors to cover the costs of organizing and carrying in its tenth edition, something we will try also possible in successive years. "
