From 11 to July 15 the course "Current Advances in forensic science" in the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel Eagles, within the activities of the Sea International University-Campus Mare Nostrum, held summer courses at the University of Murcia.
The address is provided by Moon Aurelio Maldonado, Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia, and Dra. María Dolores García García, Professor at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Murcia.
The course, whose registration can be done until next July 4, aims to update fundamentals and applications aspects of medical, scientific and legal interest in relation to the Forensic Science as a paradigm of interdisciplinarity., Disseminate fundamental and methodological aspects pointers and novel applicable to forensic investigations and expert practice advances applicable to the different areas of law explaining its possibilities and limitations.
Specifically, the course will provide the latest updates on topics such as legal issues in relation to violence;
Scientists at the time of death aspects, ill treatment by asphyxiation deaths and firearm and credibility of the testimony, as well as scientific and technical aspects of visual inspection and reconstruction of the crime scene and expert reports.
The course is aimed at members of the Forces of State Security and local corporations, lawyers, coroners, criminologists, graduates and university students of Criminology, Law, Medicine, Psychology and general public interested in the field of Forensic Sciences .
It lasts 30 hours and has the recognition of Course of Health Interest by the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia.
Enrolled students receive 3 free credits and 1.2 ECTS credits - CRAU.
