The mayor of Equality, Maria Isabel Torrente, and the mayor of Education, Vicente Ruiz, presented this morning the School Days 2016. A non-school project funded by the City of Eagle, the region and the European Social Fund which aims "facilitating the reconciliation of working life and private- pointed Torrente- by opening a school during the summer, allowing parents in active employment status have a space for their children."
Thus, every business day from 1 to 19 August Colegio San Juan de las Aguilas will open from 8 am to 14 hours to accommodate children between 3 and 12 years, regardless of the school in which they are registered , who are beneficiaries of this aid.
To apply this service is required that both the father and the mother of school have an employment contract or enrolled in training courses since recalled Torrente, "the goal is the reconciliation of work and private life" and children are in school.
Families who qualify may apply for a place at no cost;
for it must submit the application form duly completed in the window Registration Hall of Eagles taking until next July 22.
Once the deadline a selection process will start to determine the 90 beneficiary families.
The mayor of Education, Vicente Ruiz, noted that this same service will be launched on 9 December and the Christmas period (from 23 to 30 December and from 2 to 5 January) so it will open in the month December a new registration period.
