Eagles, true to tradition, paid tribute this weekend to the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of fishermen, with a program of events that began on Friday hand Musical Patronage aquiline.
The patron of the sea at the gates of the temple that bears his name, the musicians of the Board, accompanied the Coro San Diego Cartagena Choir Angel Martin Pulpí, the Choir of the Board and the soloist Juanjo Berenguer, gave a concert that was followed by more than five hundred people.
On the Saturday, the sailor appointment began with a Mass at the fish market which was attended, among other authorities, the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the Director General of Fisheries, Carmen Teodora Morales;
and the larger pattern of the Fishermen's Association, Domingo Diaz.
Activities in honor of the patron saint of fishermen continued in the afternoon with a Mass and the transfer of the image through the streets of the center of the city, concluding with the traditional maritime procession with the participation of individual vessels of the fishing fleet of the town.
