Eagles convert a large open-air museum, take art to the streets and give visibility to local artists are the main objectives of Escalart project launched by the Department of Culture of the local council.
An initiative to color consistent in all steps of the town making these large paintings in perspective.
"Escalart is a project that began earlier this year when we met with local artists who present the idea," stressed Lucia Hernandez, mayor of Culture, during a visit yesterday, along with the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, to the stairs where currently is working.
Later painters, graphic designers and graffiti artists involved presented their sketches to an integrated by the mayor itself, the municipal archaeologist and painter Cristobal Perez committee.
"Once the works selected this first phase in which we will conclude at the end of the year with six ladders painted the town began," announced Hernandez.
Lorenzo Martinez, Javier Espinosa H., Copón Studio, Pedro Juan Rabal, Felipe Perez and graffiti artist "Bones" are the selected artists to color the steps of the town in this first phase, expressed the mayor, will continue next year with six other stairs which will take charge also other local artists.
The Department is borne with all material costs and also gratifies each of the participants with 1,000 euros.
