The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, has been responsible for opening the lecture series Watching the Sea this week was beginning in the town with the talk "nuclear accident Palomares: 50 years without a solution" by the writer and director of the documentary Operation broken arrow, José María Herrera.
The ceremony was also attended by the mayor of Culture, Lucia Hernandez;
director Watching the Sea, José Asensio;
Juan Monzó, CEO of Universities and Research;
and Raquel Sanchez Ibáñez, director of the International University of the Sea
During the ceremony the first aquiline mayor said that "the commitment and cooperation of the municipality with the university should be a constant, not only as a way to bring this to the aquiline and columbines but as a tool for promoting cultural tourism".
After the talk, Herrera Square presented the book Nuclear accident in Palomares.
