The responsible regional Development said today during the ceremony of the blue flags to the aquiline ports facilities "are fully modernized and adapted to the highest environmental standards, accessibility and safety and have a wide range of services and a high level water quality. "
Rivera noted that the two marinas aquiline are the only of distinguished with this award Region and said that his department has among its priorities "continue to drive improvements in port facilities with the aim of promoting tourism development in the linked ports especially their nautical and recreational "activities.
The Minister toured the awardees port facilities, in addition to the 40 beaches of the Costa Calida distinguished this year, four more than in 2015 and representing the best figure of blue flags obtained in the region, with a total of 42.
The marina Juan Montiel has made a significant investment in their facilities to promote the potential of water sports and tourism in the town.
Specifically, they have developed in their facilities paddle tennis courts, entertainment, sailing and diving schools and linked to the hotel business.
Also, the Club Nautico de Aguilas, indirect management ended last year a comprehensive improvement of their infrastructure to promote the potential of water sports and tourism in the town.
