After several years without receiving money from the Autonomous Community to invest in municipal works, the City will receive almost 200,000 euros from the PARDOSM to undertake improvements in the town.
As explained by the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, they have studied the most urgent needs for road renewal to ask the Ministry of the Presidency to include them in the said Plan.
For this reason, the Municipal Council of Eagles, unanimously approved, in extraordinary session, the inclusion of several works necessary in Calabardina, within the Regional Revitalization Plan of Works and Municipal Services, 2016. This is the resurfacing of shod with hot asphalt and curb sidewalks and pavements with concrete curbs and hydraulic tile in the Prince of Asturias, Prince of Asturias cross, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Segura streets.
Besides building a storm drain and corresponding scupper Street Rio Segura is included;
and the renewal of the drinking water street Prince of Asturias and its cross.
The total amount of the works amounts to 239,649.18 euros, of which the Autonomous Community will provide 195,160 euros and 50,000 euros Consistory aquiline.
Regional Action Plan to Increase Works and Municipal Services, an alternative to the Works and Services Plan ensures that the 41 municipalities in the region with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants receive allocations for municipal investments in improvement works.
The PARDOSM has a total credit of 5,000,000 euros, so that the maximum aid per municipality is 195,160 euros.
Eagle City Council has requested the aid in full in order to carry out the maximum improvement works.
