Jorge Nava, piano
Jorge Nava (Santander, 1990) began his musical studies with Irina Efanova at the National Conservatory of Music in Bolivia.
He obtained the Superior Degree at the Conservatorio del Liceu under the tutelage of Stanislav Pochekin.
He has been awarded many international awards as Intercentros Melómano, Competition Marisa Montiel, Contest Infanta Cristina, Standing Competition Jeunesses Musicales International Competition in Ibiza, Competition Mario Estenssoro, IKA 2013, RCM Beethoven Competition and International Competition Maria Canals, among others.
As a soloist he has collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra of Bolivia, the Liceu Conservatory Orchestra, Orchestra and Choir of RTVE, Elche Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of Madrid and Medellin Philharmonic Orchestra.
In Spain, he has given recitals at the Palau de la Música Catalana, National Music Auditorium, Canal Theatre, Metropol Theater, Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall.
In Europe and South America, he has acted in cities like La Paz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Vina del Mar, Medellin, Madrid, Montorillon, Saint-Germain, Hamburg, Stuttgart, London, among others.
As a chamber musician, Nava is a founding member of the Quintet and Trio Anfaegtelse Bruckner.
He currently works with violinist Anton Jimenez Asia Time.
