Councillor for Local Development of the City of Eagle, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, has released the unemployment data related to Eagles, who have registered a "historic" low in the last two years.
Specifically, the number of unemployed in the municipality "has been reduced by 560 people, which is very positive news, which tells us we're moving in the right direction and that the work done for employment is paying off, though the road to recovery is long and we must continue working to end this scourge of unemployment that still affects many families. "
Comparing the statistics of unemployment in the town during the past three Septembers, the figures show that there were 3237 unemployed Eagles in 2014.
The following year, in September 2015, being already ruling Socialist Party, this figure dropped to 2,938 unemployed.
And the downward trend has continued, registering 2,669 unemployed in September 2016.
Note that this comparison is made just outside of the summer season, thus providing more robust data thrown as it is not temporary jobs due to increased demand in the summer months.
