guilas counts for only a few weeks with twenty informative points placed in different places of the municipality offering an alternative public resource to the visual impact that supposes the puncture, sometimes uncontrolled, of posters in street lamps, canopies and walls.
"Under the slogan Make Eagles pretty is everyone's business, from the Department of Citizen Participation we have proposed to reduce, as far as possible, posters, colored pages and advertisements that plague the public way by reducing the spaces on which they are Placed, "said the mayor of Citizen Participation, Luis Lopez.
The purpose of these information points - continued Lpez - is "to offer to associations, companies or private individuals a free space designed to hold posters of events or activities that may be of interest to citizens."
In order that these points can fulfill their informative function and do not become accumulators of paper, from the Department have given a series of recommendations and rules of use.
Thus, in order to use the information points it is necessary to request their use to the City Council and once obtained the authorization can be placed the posters that, after the event or activity announced, should be withdrawn.
As for the number of posters a maximum of six is allowed for each of the information points' faces, for signage of 30x40 centimeters, and a maximum of two for larger posters.
