A large number of aguileños, including the mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, participated last Sunday in the oath of the new elder brother of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Rocío de Aguilas.
The event, which took place during a religious ceremony sung by the choir of the Brotherhood and attended by the neighboring brotherhoods of the Southeast and members of the Confraternities of Holy Week of Eagles, also served to present to the new Board of Government Of the aquiline rocieros.
One of the most emotional events of the day was when Ginés Robles, after five years in charge of the Brotherhood, ceded the position of Big Brother to Fernando Gallego who assured to have in Robles a model.
The newly appointed Brother Major expressed his appreciation for the work done by the previous Board of Government of which he said "have managed to place the Brotherhood in a place of reference."
