The Local Association of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) in Aguilas celebrated last weekend a momentous Meeting on the World of Work.
"After more than four hours of intense analysis, the Aquiline communists gave us a strategy for action in the work centers of the municipality," said Óscar Pérez, political secretary of the group.
After a thorough analysis of the labor situation in the economic sectors that are thriving in our locality and the role played by the trade unions in this context, the PCE militants and sympathizers agreed on a roadmap for action.
The fight against labor precariousness and in defense of the public pension system will be the priority fronts for the communists during the next year.
"The class struggle is more visible today than ever before, the workers are suffering attacks on our rights as was not the case in decades," said Oscar Perez.
The first step in this strategy of action will be to transfer the municipality to the campaign "in defense of a job and a dignified life" that the state has launched the PCE.
"We want to inform the workers of their labor rights, to encourage them to fight to defend them and to stand with them whenever they need it. We want them to know that there is a Party that they can count on every time."
To this end, the Aquiline communists propose to approach the work centers and to know the reality of them by the workers themselves.
