For the second consecutive year the characters of the Carnival have been in charge of illuminating Christmas with the symbolic act of lighting that took place last Saturday and which brought together a large number of people in the popular Glorieta.
As for the novelties of this year it should be noted that a total of 459,000 light bulbs have been installed, a figure well above the 350,000 of last year, and that one week ahead of the ignition, all this, Edil de Festejos y Comercio, Encarnación Navarro, "with the aim of dynamizing the streets of our town thus inviting aquiline and visitors to stroll through them and visit the many shops with which we have in Aguilas during this bridge."
In this sense, the mayor declared that this year "the lighting has expanded considerably, reaching areas of Eagles that previously did not have it";
Also added that "to the numerous arcs of light installed must add four almonds of led lighting of six meters of height".
As far as the Christmas atmosphere to the arches and luminous figures is necessary to add the adornments in palm trees and the planting of 1,000 Easter flowers, 300 more than last year.
