The flamenco master Curro Piñana and the company Makro were the winners with "Les Fabes de Oro 2016";

A recognition that the Casa Menéndez restaurant awards every year within the gastronomic days of this unique product of the Principality.

These recognitions are usually addressed to individuals, entities or groups that have expressed concern, effort and concern to help society in cultural, welfare, training, employment, sports or any other order, as well as foster rapprochement between the Region Of Murcia and the Principality of Asturias.

The gastronomic event, which was attended by the mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, was enlivened, as is usual, by the bagpipe band Mozos del Convent de Lorca.
