In collaboration with the Department of Education and Environment of the City of Eagles, with the Fishermen Guild and the Nautical Club of Eagles has held the contest "The sea is life, take care" among students participating in the Coastal Ecoescuelas program.
The award ceremony took place yesterday at the Town Hall of Águilas with the assistance of the Environment Minister, Isabel María Torrente, the mayor of the Fishermen's Guild, Domingo Díaz, and Miguel López Navares, president of the Yacht Club of Águilas .
The papers deal with the consequences of such everyday acts as the lack of care with plastic waste (bags, flanges, cans cans, etc ...) and their direct consequences with the environment.
Much of this waste goes directly or indirectly to the sea and that is why the Guild of Fishermen of Eagles wanted to collaborate by giving their facilities to exhibit the work done from 12 to 30 December in the building of the Lonja in the Esplanade of Dock.
The Ecoescuelas Litorales program, in addition to highlighting the local natural and cultural heritage among the participating students, aims to improve the relationship of the small citizens with their environment;
On the one hand raising awareness in their daily actions, and on the other improving their eating habits and daily exercise.
