The City of Eagles has received today from the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia five defibrillators that will allow most of the municipal sports facilities to become cardioprotected spaces.
The presentation of the defibrillators, which took place this morning at the town hall, was run by the mayor of the municipality, Mari Carmen Moreno, Sports mayor, Cristóbal Casado, and the president of the Federation Murciana, Jose Miguel Monje.
These five new defibrillators, in addition to the one already installed in the Municipal Sports Center, "will be located in the Hermanos Buitrago football field, the Muñoz Calero field, the 7 Capi football field, the Diego Calvo pavilion and the El camp Rubial ", advanced the mayor of Sports.
The mayor of Águilas has stressed "the effort that Federación Murciana de Fútbol is making to convert all the sports areas of the region into cardio-protected places."
Likewise, the mayor expressed her gratitude to the aquiline Felipe Cano, director of the School of Soccer, "for the efforts made to achieve this for our municipality."
The first aquiline mayor has also reiterated the commitment of the Government Team to continue increasing the cardioprotected spaces in the locality because, he assured, "investing in security should always be a priority for public administrations."
For his part, Monje has indicated that, in addition to the defibrillators, "the Federation will take charge of the training of personnel to be able to give appropriate use to them if necessary."
