The Municipal People's Group thanks the support and commitment of the Family Counselor, Violante Toms and the Regional President, Pedro Antonio Snchez, to expand the budget of Social Services in our municipality.
This support will amount to 24,497 euros for the hiring of a new social worker to help the municipality of Aguilas ensure the provision of basic services to the most disadvantaged.
This is a measure very demanded by the citizens in the most unfavorable situation and the Minister has announced in the distribution of the financing of the Regional Concerted Plan for Primary Care 2017, whose endowment has increased by 7.2 percent this year, to From 10,083,000 euros in 2016 to 10,814,000 planned for this year.
From the IMAS it has also been announced that on March 1 the Agreement for Home Assistance and Dependency starts.
Isabel Soler, a municipal spokesperson, has expressed the commitment of the Regional Government with the municipality of guilas.
"This is a very important aid to the fundamental work carried out by the Social Services and will help to reinforce the service that is carried out as a more close attention to the most vulnerable people in our municipality," he said.
