The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, visited this morning, along with the Minister of Fomento and Infrastructures, Pedro Rivera, different roads of the locality, regional ownership, where improvements are being carried out.
Specifically the RM-D14, which links Eagles with Calabardina and El Garrobillo where it is proceeding to reinforce the firm and improve drainage.
The works, which will be carried out in a 12.1 kilometer layout, are currently focusing on the cleaning and the formation and reconstruction of ditches and embankments damaged and eroded by the rains, and then proceed to repair and replacement of the Firm and the replacement of vertical and horizontal signage.
They have also visited the refurbishment work on the RM-333 road, which connects Calarreona with the Almería municipality of Pulpí and continues to the hamlet of San Juan de Terreros, which are already finished.
The work has been carried out between kilometers 3,95 and 5,46, in a section of 1.5 kilometers that presented a very deteriorated firm.
The work continues today on this road, specifically in the stretch of road that runs from kilometer 0 to 2.1, where reinforcement works have begun.
This section includes from the roundabout that connects the motorway RM-11 (Lorca-Águilas), the RM-D14 (Aguilas-Calabardina-El Garrobillo), the Lorca road and the RM-333, to the roundabout that connects with Calarreona and The camping and bungalows Bellavista.
"The RMD14, which connects Águilas with El Garrobillo, is a busy road, not only by the neighbors of the area but also by a large number of agricultural workers located in the vicinity. An improvement that was absolutely necessary ", assured the first aquiline building.
Also, the mayor took advantage of the visit of the councilor to re-request the construction of the bike lane to the limit with Andalusia.
