The funds of the Archaeological Museum of Eagles have been increased this week after a new delivery of different pieces from the entire seabed of Eagles.
The municipal archaeologist, Juan de Dios Hernández, has indicated that a large part of them, including amphoras, mortars and ceramics of luxury found in the vicinity of El Hornillo and Poniente, are complete which increases significantly the value from the same.
Also, Hernández has highlighted, among all the recovered pieces, a mini-spatheium of the fifth century DC coming from the seabed of Isla del Fraile.
"The piece of barely 8 deciliters had to serve, because of its reduced size, to pack a garum of the highest quality," said the archaeologist.
