These were the words of the Councilor for Town Planning, Tomás Consentino, who, this morning, announced that the hiring process for the construction of the long-awaited bridge has already been resolved.
The person in charge of the Economic area of ​​the Consistory aquiline stated that a total of fifteen tendering companies had attended and finally it was the UTE Construcciones y Excavaciones Sánchez López and Construcciones José Ruiz the awarded.
The action has a budget of 297,538 euros in which the company has added improvements worth 107,373 euros.
The mayor reiterated that this announcement means "the fulfillment of a commitment that for this Government Team was a priority: to solve a historical problem of the municipality that affected an entire area of ​​the town that was isolated as a result of the rains."
It should be remembered that the construction of the bridge over the ravine of Las Culebras was subject to the previous construction of a wall, whose authorization was achieved by the Government Team last November after being denied on three occasions to the previous Municipal Corporation By the Segura Hydrographic Confederation.
